Registration Overview

This program is funded by a grant from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. Registration is required and provides for lunch and the materials.  Materials will be provided electronically, and attendees will receive access details at the seminar (you will need a laptop, or another electronic device that is Wi-Fi enabled, and equipped with a PDF reader to access the materials).

Please read before registering: Attendance is limited to criminal defense attorneys and those who directly assist them in criminal defense litigation. You may not register for this program if you are, or are working for, affiliated, clerking or interning with: a full-time law enforcement officer, a full or part-time state or federal prosecutor, or a full or part-time criminal defense attorney who is currently acting as a prosecutor or special prosecutor in a capital case (unfortunately, no exceptions).

If you qualify for the $25.00 registration rate but are unable pay, please Request a Waiver. Waivers are not available for any other rate amount.

Confirmations will be sent to all registrants. Free registrants must attend the program to receive materials at no additional cost. If due, payment must accompany registration. Texas Attorneys: An active Texas Bar number is required to qualify for the $0.00 or $25.00 Tuition rates.

Cancellation Policy

Written cancellation must be received 5 business days prior to a program to receive a refund (Email: lgaspar@cailaw.org). After this date, no refunds, but substitution of attendees for this program will be permitted with prior approval. Registrants not entitled to a refund will receive the course materials.
