ITA and CBAr Have Joined Annual Conferences

The 9th Annual ITA Americas Workshop in Latin America will be presented in São Paulo, Brazil, on Thursday-Saturday, September 19-21, 2013 with the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr) and the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (CAM-CCBC). The CBAr-ITA-CAM-CCBC Joint Conference on International Arbitration will include both the ITA Americas Workshop and the CBAr 12th International Arbitration Congress. Over 400 participants are expected at the joint conference, which will be presented in English and Portuguese with simultaneous translation.

The conference will include a mock arbitration illuminating practice and strategy in the final phases of an international arbitration , led by co-chairs Tai-Heng Cheng, David Orta and Jennifer Smith.  A joint Americas Roundtable for young lawyers will be co-chaired by ITA Young Arbitrators Initiative Chair Valeria Galíndez.  ITA members are invited to participate in the invitation-only 3rd Americas Forum held in connection with the joint conference.
