Registration Overview / Instructions

This program is funded by a grant from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. Attendance is limited to criminal defense attorneys and those who directly assist them in criminal defense litigation.

New this year—please read before registering: You may not register for this program if you are or work for a full or part-time: prosecutor, special prosecutor, judge, magistrate, municipal judge with magistrate duties, or law enforcement officer (unfortunately, no exceptions). Registration is required to attend and provides for the seminar, lunch and materials. Most materials will be provided electronically and/or posted on our website.

Request A Tuition Waiver: If qualify for the $100.00 Tuition rate but are unable to pay, please email cail@cailaw.org to explain and request a waiver. Include the program name in the subject line. Tuition waivers are not available for the other rate amounts.

*Tuition will be used to cover future expenses of CAIL’s Criminal Law grant programs or to provide for items the grant cannot sufficiently cover.

Confirmations will be sent to all registrants. If due, payment must accompany registration.

Cancellation Policy

Written cancellation must be received 5 business days prior to a program to receive a refund (Email: lgaspar@cailaw.org). After this date, no refunds, but substitution of attendees for this program will be permitted with prior approval. Registrants not entitled to a refund will receive the course materials.
