This presentation will provide a high level overview of blockchain and smart contracts, and will include a discussion on the potential evolution of the technology and its impact on various areas, including the legal and energy industries. 1 hour of MCLE Credit will be available.

This course has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of Texas Committee on MCLE in the amount of 1.0 credit hour, of which no credit hours will apply to ethics/professional responsibility credit. The IEL will not be filing this course with any state or country CLE/CPD organization apart from the State Bar of Texas, and attendees must make their own enquiries with their own regulatory organization as to whether the uniform certificate of attendance provided on completion of this course will be recognized by that body for MCLE purposes.
