Over the past few years, government entities and non-governmental organizations have moved the debate over climate change from the court of public opinion and into the courtroom.  Oil and gas companies have been one of the bigger targets for such suits, where plaintiffs have alleged that the companies are responsible for rising sea levels and that they have failed to warn about the potential impacts of greenhouse gas emissions.  Join our panel for a discussion of the various climate change-based lawsuits and current trends in climate change litigation.
