Overview

The IEL Young Energy Professionals and the AIPN Young Negotiators are pleased to present the next in their series of joint breakfast seminars, Beyond Entry Points – Risk Allocation in MSAs, Drilling Contracts and Other Agreements.

Contracts that govern the exploration and production portions of a project are more interwoven and complex than most realize and are important throughout the life of a project, from acquisition through development and final decommissioning. Join us as William W. Pugh, chair of the revision committee for the AIPN model form service agreement set and partner with the law firm of Liskow & Lewis LLP, explains the basics of risk allocation in operational agreements (primarily MSAs and drilling contracts), with a focus on the interrelationship of the various agreements and how to structure and negotiate risk allocation provisions to maximize your company's protection and ensure that your economic project remains economic.

The seminar will be from 8 a.m.-9 a.m.  Registration and breakfast will be available at 7:30 a.m. Registration is limited so register soon.
