The Center for American and International Law (CAIL) held a special luncheon in honor of Judge Patrick E. Higginbotham to celebrate his 50 years of service to the legal community on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Belo Mansion in Dallas.
In addition to a video tribute documenting Judge’s life as a “Lawyer, Jurist, Scholar, Friend,” the luncheon also featured several esteemed speakers from the legal community, including:
- The Honorable Carl E. Stewart, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit
- The Honorable Wallace B. Jefferson, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Texas
- The Honorable Sidney A. Fitzwater, Chief District Judge, Northern District of Texas
Judge Higginbotham enjoyed seeing old friends, family and colleagues and the event was a fitting tribute for all he has done for CAIL and The Rule of Law.
