Overview

Presented by Young ITA, Co-sponsored by Allen & Overy and Wilmer Hale

Join us for an evening of discussion and debate, followed by networking drinks and hors d’oeuvres. The evening is aimed at more junior practitioners but all are welcome to attend. We hope that you will be able to join us for what we are sure will be a very lively and enjoyable evening.

The participants will have a roundtable discussion addressing the current status of interim measures in international arbitration. The aim of the event is to discuss the issues faced so far by parties and practitioners in obtaining and enforcing interim measures, as well as possible new approaches to enhance the efficiency of those measures. At a more theoretical level, the participants will debate the legitimacy of interim measures and emergency arbitration and the controversy of rendering such measures in the form of an order or an award.

#YoungITATalks is a series of local events presented around the world, featuring talks, workshops or interviews that cover a wide range of subjects relating to arbitration. The #YoungITATalks series is designed for education, conversation and sharing knowledge and experiences among young practitioners.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, this event is tuition-free. Please register in advance to help us get an accurate headcount.
