This program will be helpful both to defense lawyers experienced in cross examination techniques and those who are not. Keynote speaker Terence F. MacCarthy is one of the country's leading authorities on cross-examination and will focus lectures and discussions on effective cross examination skills and impeachment of a prosecution witness. This non-capital course features lectures, trial practice sessions and a two-hour ethics presentation, and is co-chaired by Rick Wardroup (TCDLA), Tony Odiorne (RPDO), & Robbie McClung (McClung & Franklin).
This course is funded by a grant from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.
